August 21st, 2008The Benton-Franklin County Fair in Kennewick, WA, in addition to 4-H and FFA classes is again offering Open Class obstacle competition for camelids and their handlers on August 21st, 2008. People of all ages and locale can bring their camelids (any gender) just for the day, compete and have fun working together! Arrive on the grounds between 7-8AM. Fitting & Showing, Pack, PR, Costume and Quiz Bowl competition. 4-H showmanship begins at 9AM, Open class 1PM. Demonstration activities (driving, packing, etc.) for the general public are planned throughout the day and evening, which are open to participation by registrants.
